0xScope Protocol is the first data knowledge graph protocol layer.

Through a set of weighted algorithms based on graph computation and machine learning, 0xScope can associate scattered data points across Web2 & Web3 sources into a realistic dense network of structured semantic data.

On top of this data layer, 0xScope team has also built its first data product, Watchers, Web3’s Tianyancha project. (Tianyancha is a top Web2 data penetration product.)

1.Data layer

The Crypto industry has gone through three major cycles so far, forming three important elements:

The first cycle is the asset cycle(2008–2015). With the birth of Bitcoin, there has been an explosion of encrypted assets such as Litecoin, Ripple, Dogecoin, etc., which are all representing a new paradigm of asset;

The second cycle is the Finance cycle(2015–2020). With the increase of crypto assets, there has been more and more financial demands. The birth of Ethereum and DeFi realized the allocation of assets across time and space, so that DeFi Summer broke out, and finance became a the second element after the asset;

The third cycle is the data cycle(2020-now). The paths of assets and finance eventually precipitate data. As applications explode, assets and users data also explode and be deposited into a new layer of data. We expect that in the next cycle, data will be the next important element.Data layer will become an independent layer stack, and we have already witnessed the born of many data layer stack projects:

2. From data to information and to knowledge

Today, Web3 has more and more data, but less and less knowledge.

Here are some problems we are facing of Web3 data today:

1. Although the potential of Web3 open data is huge, the multi-chain and Dapp LEGO dissociation had made the data too fragmented. We lack the penetrating and God-perspective to connect the dots.

2. The data between Web2 and Web3 has not been efficiently communicated, and the Web3 data is currently thin. We need to commute more data from Web2 to Web3.

3. The more data there is, the less the correlation between data, and the value of Web3 data composability and interoperability cannot be exerted. We need a solution to put the data fragment together.

0xScope is to solve the problem, pioneering the solution to commute more data from Web2 to Web3 and transfer Web3 data into information and into knowledge.

What 0xScope wants to do is to connect and use Web2 and Web3 data. It allows the two ideologically opposing worlds to merge into an organic whole based on human knowledge graphs and shared semantic units, thus providing a more accurate picture of the real Web3 world. Thus, it helps developers read and analyze data efficiently and cost-effectively, derive actionable insights, and unlock the potential value of Web3 open data and composability.

3. Data App

Based on the data layer of 0xScope, a large number of data applications can be developed. Among them, the 0xScope team has developed a data app on their own -Watchers.

1. Watchers

The role of Watchers is to overlook on-chain data from a macro perspective:

(1) Study the behavioral relationship between addresses.

(2) Analyze the benefit penetration diagram with Token/project as the analysis ontology.

(3) Establish data analysis and due diligence functions based on entity query technology and penetration capabilities.

(4) Connect the data association between Web2 and Web3 to provide data capabilities, monitor the public opinion of entity VCs, and provide early warning for risk addresses, etc.

4. Data loop

We believe that today’s Web3 startups should not only be able to build protocols, but also could build applications on top of that to form a closed loop.

Scope has demonstrated a good practice to form a loop from data layer to data application.

1. When more data App is applied to the 0xScope data layer, more data will be accumulated in it. The Watchers built by the 0xScope team is the first demonstration App to roll the data snowball bigger and bigger.

2. When the data precipitation in the 0xScope data layer is richer and more diverse, more data application developers will build projects on the data layer.
