The first-ever summer hackathon presented by ABCDE Capital officially kicked off on August 14, 2023. Co-hosted by zkSync and Taiko, the hackathon aimed at supporting zero-knowledge (ZK) builders and projects in their early growth. The competition covers three categories: ZK infrastructure and tools, ZK applications and other ZK-related themes. The total prize pool has reached $70,000.

First Prize: $30,000

🏆 ZKP2P — The coveted First Prize belongs to Team ZKP2P for their groundbreaking project. ZKP2P introduces a revolutionary peer-to-peer fiat and crypto onramp, powered by Zero Knowledge Proofs. This achievement is truly remarkable, and we extend our warmest congratulations to this exceptional team.

Second Prize: $10,000 each for 2 teams

🥈 ZKML Power — Our Second Prize accolade is shared by two exceptional teams. First among them is Team ZKML Power, creators of an anti-cheating ZKML prover system. Their commitment to enhancing security in the ZK space is commendable.

🥈 GasZero — The second recipient of the Second Prize is GasZero, the First Gasless Blockchain Infrastructure. You can learn more about their innovative platform at GasZero. Congratulations to both teams for their outstanding contributions.

Third Prize: $5,000 each for 3 teams

🥉 Magipop — Team Magipop secures a well-deserved place among our top ranks with their co-creation platform. Their mission to enable global community co-creation is inspiring, and we applaud their achievement.

🥉 zkhub — The Third Prize also finds its home with Team zkhub from India. Their exceptional problem-solving skills and technical prowess are reflected in their vision to create rapid and privacy-preserving generation through multiparty computation.

🥉 老码农的新冒险 — Last but certainly not least, this remarkable team claims the Third Prize for their customizable zkwasm proof batching DSL. Their innovative ideas have made a lasting impression on this event, and their contribution is truly commendable.

ZK Hacker Camp: Laid a Solid Foundation for Teams

Since July 14th, we started to organize ZK curiculum every Saturday. At the ABCDE ZK Hacker Camp, we gather ZKP developers, hackers, researchers, open-source project contributors to bring in-depth discussions and boost innovation.

ZK Demo Day: A Grand Success

In addition to the thrilling competition, the ABCDE ZK Hackathon 2023 featured a spectacular ZK Demo Day held at the ABCDE office in Singapore. It was an event that showcased the future of zero-knowledge technology in action, and it drew an enthusiastic audience of over 200 people who gathered to witness the magic unfold.

The vibrant atmosphere in the ABCDE office was electrifying, as attendees witnessed live demonstrations, interacted with the teams, and gained a deeper understanding of the limitless possibilities that zero-knowledge technology offers.
